Most likely they did the math and figured "Why bother, our profit doesn't increase enough for it to be worth while."
If this is so important I think the users in this segment should get together and figure out something they could all live with and petition the company. Yamaha people aren't going to sit and read through threads on Gearslutz.
I thought Yamah/Steinberg are smart enough to know this, without having us to put a petition signed by us so they can take action, they surely are ignoring it, and they know about !
I'm not going to discuss this any further. Because, this discussion is only adding more to my frustration with Yamaha/Steinberg's Philosophy, and lack of wisdom.
