Just to clarify I didn't make the dive just for my Voyager, I plan on it being a complete system on its own in the end. I was just thinking of some cool applications and thought the paraphonic potential seemed interesting.
Jusr go for a maths and get it out of the way! 2x complex envelope/LFO/Slew generators/clock dividers/envelope followers/LPFs/attenuverters/Logical signal mixers @ $270.. Or befaco rampage does the same thing for $150 if you can DIY it, with some different character.
Bastl CV trinity also a good option. Same size/price as maths, but gives 6 channels which can each be an envelope, LFO, or knob recorder with clocked quantization (step sequencer, selectable 8, 16, 32 steps) all with clock syncable functions. Not as "immediate," requires some "menu diving," but offers many more functions and greater control than maths or most any function generator on the market.
