I cannot comment on the G22, having not heard it myself. However, I had the Gyraf G10 for a couple of years and I now have a Thermionic Phoenix Mastering Plus. If I am comparing those two, I would say the Gyraf is a touch more coloured. I found it to work well with jazz, folk and acoustic music. For more aggressive styles of music, I think the Phoenix may be preferable. To my ears, its bottom end is a little tighter.
