BFs have another stage of conversion. Used mine for a coupe of years. They truly didn't improve anything about my mixes. In fact they caused me to focus on stuff that really wasn't important. Conversion rate is such a personal decision these days that being forced to listen to everything at 96K(or is it 192...ii forget) feels wrong.

I prefer to choose my conversion and a speaker to be driven by a signal the way it left my rig, not by some secondary digital process that I have no control over.

I've gone backwards now with speakers and believe that getting your listening position/room in order and using a pair of speakers that suit you and give you music the way you want it is much more valuable than exact science speakers.
