Coming soon on patchpool: Synth Factory for MSoundFactory
This was somehow inevitable:
Synth Factory for MSoundFactory is patchpool's first soundset for this vast modular synthesis environment, it will be 100% sample free and focusses on various synthesis forms. Taking advantage of the sample analysis in the additive oscillator and modal filter, organic and expressive vocal, string and percussive sounds will be created. Dozens of wavetables and numerous single cycle waveforms extracted from acoustic instrument samples and electronic sources will contribute to building a musically useful sound library for a large variety of genres. Many patches will also have a device interface with Macros and x/y-pads on the easy page, most patches will have the modulation wheel assigned. From lush pads and vocal sounds to dark drones and ethereal soundscapes, from complex sequencers and arps to otherworldly sound effects, Synth Factory contains a wealth of inspiring sounds.
As MFS is still being developed further, accomplishing this set will take a while so in order to shorten the waiting time, all customers will receive a first batch of presets at the end of July.
All demos below were produced entirely with MSF using only patches from Synth Factory, no post-processing was applied apart from a limiter on the outputs and some volume automation, if several instances of MSF were used in a track.

This demonstrates two wavetable patches (consecutively)
This one demonstrates a more abstract patch with four additive oscillators, OSC2-4 come in one after another with a tempo-synced lag via synced envelopes.

EDIT
Demo for a drone-scape from Synth Factory, Macro automation in LogicX, 100% MSF. I'll be distributing the dl link for the fist batch of patches later today.

Improvising with a mysterious drone-scape from Synth Factory for MSoundFactory - automating some of the installed Macros in a second pass in LogicX, 100% MSF, no samples used.

EDIT
Demo for a wavetable pad from Synth Factory for MSoundFactory - automating the Macros in LogicX, 100% MSF.

I just sent out an updated version of Synth Factory, now containing 64 patches (including 1 variation).
Beware: If you have made changes to patches from the first deployment and saved them within the main soundset folder, please donโt use the โReplaceโ function when importing this new batch, otherwise your own preset versions will be lost.

Improvising live on video with a wavetable patch from Synth Factory for MSoundFactory - morphing between the 4 wavetables with an x/y-pad (also using auto-morphing).

EDIT
Improvising with a vocal, choir-like patch from Synth Factory for MSoundFactory - automating two of the installed Macros in a second pass.
----
EDIT
Demo featuring three patches from from Synth Factory for MSoundFactory - plenty of Macro automation in LogicX.

Improvising with a wavetable patch from Synth Factory for MSoundFactory - this patch morphs between 4 wavetables all derived from glass harp samples, pretty amazing sound quality...

EDIT
I just distributed an updated version of Synth Factory for MSF to all customers, now including 77 patches (including 1 variation).
Beware: If you have made changes to patches from the first two deployments and saved them within the main soundset folder, please donโt use the โReplaceโ function when importing this new batch, otherwise your own versions will be lost.

Demo combining two patches (Golden Gate/Low Tide Pad) from Synth Factory for MSoundFactory - automating some of the installed Macros in LogicX, 100% MSF.
I just released my first soundset for MSoundFactory:

All patches have an interface on the easy-page with Macros and x/y-pads, most patches also have the modulation wheel assigned.โจ
From lush pads and vocal sounds to dark drones and cinematic soundscapes, from complex sequencers and arps to otherworldly sound effects, chromatic percussion, ethereal textures and snappy plucks, Synth Factory contains a wealth of inspiring sounds.โจ
The current version of Synth Factory contains 109 patches programmed on MSF version 13.00 โ 13.05, all the presets have Macros assigned on the easy page. These patches are not devices and they are not locked in any way so you can edit them freely by clicking on the Edit-button at the upper right of the interface. The documentation of the presets will be completed soon.
You can view/download the PDF for Synth Factory with more details, the licence agreement and a list with patch descriptions here.
