Behringer UltraGain Pro-8 Digital ADA8000 by MaxVMH
I bought this unit a month ago, and use it with my M-Audio ProFire 2626.
It has 8 inputs (XLR & jack on each input) on the front and 8 output channels (only XLR on each output) on the back. Each input has a preamp, signal & clip lights. There's 1 phantom power button for all the inputs.
What do I love about it? It has pretty decent converters and preamps. Okay, they're not Apogee or Lynx. But the preamps give less noise and are noticeably stronger than my Tascam USB-interface preamps. I can't tell the Behringer preamps apart from my M-Audio ProFire 2626 preamps.
What do I hate about it? First of all, it's Behringer. So it takes a few blind tests to show people who come in the studio that the unit isn't crap. XLR-plugs are on the front (not handy), master/slave & sample rate settings panel is on the back (even less handy).
When you're on a tight budget and need an ADAT-convertor, this is a no-brainer.
