Recording a piano trio

Hi all im going to record a piano trio (violin, cello, piano)in a chamber music hall.

My gear is:

2 dpa 4011
2 dpa 4006tl
2 dpa 4003
1 aea r88 ribbon stereo mic
1millennia m2b
1 metrica halo uln

I am trying to get my head around this and to find the most interesting and effective use of microphones. At the moment i have two different suggestions:

1) -2 dpa 4003 on piano with the through 2b preamp.
-1 dpa 4011 spot mic on violin +1 4011 on cello through M.H preamp
-2 dpa 4006tl as overhead for violin and cello through M.H preamp
-1 aea r88 stereo mic as "room" mic through M.H preamp

2) -2 dpa 4006tl on piano through M.H preamp
-1 dpa 4011 spot mic on violin +1 4011 on cello through M.H preamp
-aea r88 as overhead for violin + cello through M.H preamp
-dpa 4003 as "room" mic through millenia 2b preamp

Any comments on the options or other suggestions?
The music is contemporary classical music with a lot of extended techniques on the strings.

Use 2 pairs of omni DPAs:

1 pair spaced about a meter apart, looking down onto the violin and cello, respectively(both seated, cello just in front of the crook of the piano, the violinist also in front of and slightly to the stage right of the pianist. Typical live setup for this ensemble)

Then the other pair at the tail end of the piano.

The above photo is from a recording session with Simon Eadon

Either setup would work. Overkill for sure, but with new music, you never know what techniques could use a little support from close mics. Choose the color of the main mics first, either the 4006 from 1) or the R84 from 2). That will be 90% of your sound.
