can i get your opinions sound wise on these two mics ...
At815St stereo mic
At835St stereo mic
you can compare them or just plain review them ...
or maybe just my schoeps MK4 or rent a 416 .. but the stereo thing is intriging
looking to use them for recording live show with no PA system ...
capturing sound from small stage ... hung close to downstage center pointing down to where performers will be ... may supplement with Crown PCC mics on the edge of stage .. all acoustic music ... open mic kind of thing ...
and yes a couple of audience mics .. all through ATI 8MX2 pres ... mixed for video feed ... audience mics may be isolated to DAT machine for more isolation, leaving only stage mics to camera ...
I don't know anyone with something nice to say about these. I have the early versions of both...don't care for either one. If I had the chance to do it over, I'd save my money for something decent!
I know some guys that like the Studio Projects LSD2 a whole lot.
a cheap stereo mic that actually sounds good.
