A good, engaging read ! An active imagination and realisation of the myriad factors which can lead to minor or major recording/broadcast catastrophes is both a particular blessing and curse of the engineer.

Brings to mind that AA Serenity prayer: "God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, The courage to change the things I can, And the wisdom to know the difference" ...not that it helps to ease the anxiety of location recording !
