Chris Parker RIP

Very sad to report the passing of Chris Parker.

Chris worked at EMI as a balance engineer for many years and early in his career was foremost in the development of stereo microphone techniques at Kingsway Hall in London during the 1950's. Honest recordings.

Great man. Inspirational for me, and supportive and encouraging when I need support and encouragement most.

Tony, is that the father of Nicholas? When I worked with Nicholas I think he told me his father was engineer at EMI.

Yes. Nick is an old friend as well - fine producer.
