Shouldn't you have posted this question in the "Remote Possibilities in Acoustic Music & Location Recording" section? Most of those guys are hairless.

personally i wear plugs everywhere. sometimes even in the studio, they seem to accentuate the low end making it easier to get the kick+bass to mesh.

yeah I've had this for as long as I can remember...its an absoulte F#@KER. Keeps me awake at night when it really gets going.

I think it's from years on end of going to bed as a kid and listening to everything on LOUD via headphones.

when you damage your hearing you never go back. it's actually worse to hear anything at all because its all damage.
