Oh most definitely sometimes after working on a long session I like to take advantage of my artists by beating them in boxing or a good shooter Lol

Sorry it took so long to get back with you I had it for about 25 days and sent it back I was having problems with the midi also it doesn't let you use your usb and midi at the same time so I got rid of it and purchased a korg Krome it's everything I needed and more.

I assume that you record using those?

Nice.

Peace.

Damn I don't check this thread often enough haha

Yeah I do a live looping thing with that set up and it's very much organic hip hop. :D

On a different note, Here's a new custom made MIC I just finished up work on...

Was looking through this thread and realized I never responded! I like the per alot. It's my first proper preamp, and I've only used it with my one mic, a tlm103. It seems to balance the tone of the mic pretty well, but u have to be careful about pushing the gain too hard (I know, duh). There's no meter, only a light that is green or red depending on ur gain. Definitely has a nice sweet spot and has sounded good to my ears on both rappers I've used it on.

Madehumble, nice setup. Two questions:

1> What are you using to hold up the panels at that angle for the vox recording

2>How do you like the blueberry for vox, what percentage do you use it overall?

its getting there ..........

next step is to put the computer in the closet (shhhhhhhhhhh) so i can put the instrument rack under the table where the computer is (will be quieter too)
luckily the interface is madi so one fiber cable carries 32 channels

one day if i ever finish everything up and clean it up ill try and take a decent quality picture(s)
still need to repair the half working deltalabs dl-2 i have, rack the h949 (its just sitting there, with loose cables), replace the digitech 400 with a dp4+ and throw away the rane parametric EQ (its digital and has ****ing latency .............. unusable for tracking unless you do a huge offset in software after)

A couple of these are older so things have been updated a bit in terms of gear and things on the walls but this is my little spot.

1. When I built them I used piano hinges from Lowe's, Rockwool, and built 3 frames. Using the hinge method, they stand up on their own.

2. I love the Blueberry. I use it about 40 percent of the time because the Manley is my personal vocal mic. But the Blueberry cuts through a mix like butter, so it gets used.
