Any Geist users?

I have Geist and I have my first 16 pads set up with drums and now I want to chop a sample and lay it down on another 16 pads. I clicked on pattern 2 and now I have a clean slate and I lay down my chopped samples. When I start playing notes on my MPD, it still triggers the drums on the first 16 pads. How can I tell Geist which pattern/ set of pads to trigger? I looked on the manual and couldn't find anything.

you have to open up another midi track and set the midi out of that track to midi channel two!

records the 16 pads on slot two.

another midi track midi out on 3,

records the 16 pads on slot 3 ... and so on ...
