Using a sampler with a sound module

For those using a hardware sampler and sequncer (insert fav sample..MPC, ASR etc) and a hardware sound module (insert fav module JV, Protues, Mo Phatt etc), do yo uvere find any delay between the two ? As in if you have your sampler triggering your samples and have midi notes triggering the sound module, I'm guessing you'd be running them through at least a 2 channel mixer of some kind so you could hear both sound sources combined.

Do you ever notice any delay bewteen the samples in the sampler vs the sounds from the module ? If yes how did you combat this ?

Im sure there is a delay of some sort, but I've never experienced a noticeable delay.
