Need signal chain help!!! Where does the %&^* clock go???

Interface is E-mu 1820M (Wordclock I/O, SMPTE I/O, MTC out, MIDI I/O, S/PDIF I/O, ADAT I/O)
MPC 5000 (has ADAT out, MIDI I/O, S/PDIF I/O)
A couple mics going into Apogee Rosetta 200 (Wordclock I/O, S/PDIF I/O and AES I/O)
A few midi modules that go 1/4" into the 1820....
My Rosetta 200 goes S/PDIF into the 1820m and the MPC goes ADAT into it... I NEVER track out the MPC while recording vocals...

My question for you all... Will the Apogee Big Ben improve my quality noticably? Will it make my life better? will it fold my clothes and pack my lunch? And where in the duecing signal chain would it go? Would I go word clock out to the Rosetta 200 and E-mu 1820?? do I need to run an out to the MPC? DO I need to run any piece back to the Big ben? Should I daisy chain any of them instead???

I thought I'd be fine without it... but people keep saying when sending audio ADAT or S/PDIF, you shouldn't also send clock data through the same cable... Myth or Fact???
