mpc 2000xl os upgrade???

AY guys i jus got a mcd kit off mpc stuff.com for my mpc 2000xl.
When i had my floppy drive i never had a floppy DISK cuz i didnt need it cuz i was going to buy the mcd kit. SO i was jus told that i needed version 1.20 before i installed the mdc kit which i already did. CAn i put the version 1.20 on a cd and load it from a cd drive i have connected to my mpc since i dont have a floppy??

If you upgraded to the MCD Kit... just buy a flash card, download the updated os from AKAI site to your computer... then onto your flash card (provided your computer have flash access) then load onto your mpc through the flash card. The Akai site will have instructions on how to load it.

yEAP. Download os from Akai, push file on a cd, load it through scsi. Do it before you install the Card reader. Works a charm!
Enjoy the upgrade
