Recording Samples into PT and cleaning them up

Hey guys another question...so me and my producer have been flipping thru some records that we would like to sample but a lot of them have some really bad pops in them(which of course isnt a surprise they are old as hell) but just wanted to know if anyone has a method or a certian technique they use to clean up their samples and get the pops out? Thanks again. heh

Buy a real vinyl cleaning machine to get the dirt out of the grooves.

No I don't mean groove glide or any other crap like that.
