Hi, I wish i could tell you exactly how I recorded it but alas I can't. I had a discussion with Herbie Flowers, the guy that played both basses, about it and he didn't remember either.

But, if I were to guess I would say it was either a U67, placed where I couldn't say, or a KM54 wrapped in sponge and placed, carefully, in the bridge. That's about as close as I can get for you.
