I am a home hi-fi user of the Type 20s. I'm very happy with them. However, one big reason I originally went with the Type 20s was to have an analog-only path from my PC via USB> RME ADI2 Dac > Adam Sub 8 > Type 20s.

Right now, I am using the Adam Sub8 as mentioned above. I was really interested in the new subwoofers you were releasing but a bit disappointed they were DSP only, as it prevents an analog-only path from Dac to Type 20s.

It seems the only way I could have just one DA conversion is to sell my ADI2 Dac, and use the Bass 8/10's DSP to feed into the Type 20s.

Is there any reason at all to do this?

And how would the Lineariser work now for the Type 20s? The Bass 8 Lineariser is non-specific, but my Lineariser software specifically has a selection for the Type 20s.

I wish there was a good option for us Type 20 Version 1 owners.
