Kevin,
When you use Pro Tools systems, do you use an external clock? If so, what and why.

Most professional studios tend to have an external clock source such as a "Big Ben" by Apogee or similar. I do think that it makes a difference to the quality of detail that you can hear in the project as a stable clock reduces the jitter. PT's 192 is also very stable and a worthy candidate.
