Quiet snare

Hi Jens

Do you think that by lowering (or making thinner) the snare in the mix results in a more 3D sound ? Perhaps because other elements like guitars takes over?

Thanks in advance

Hello, Mr. Matrix!

Well, that's a good question. I've evolved against louder and punchier snares over the years. There is a risk that the snare takes over though. In Sweden we call it "Lagom": not too much, not too little.
