I was curious as to how the tracks were cut for the song Year of the Cat:

What came down on basic tracks, and what was overdubbed/replaced (and in what order)?

It sounds very well structured and put together, but at the same time it feels immediate and "live."

I'm particularly interested in the way the piano intro was dealt with. Did the piano intro actually come down on basics, or was it added later.

(Oh, and was there a click track?)

No click track - all rhythm section live. Guitar solos, Sax, orch and final lead vocal overdubbed in that order as I remember.
