I like the idea of building up my own customer console with the Ac1/Ac2

I've read that you use the analog channel Ac1/ on most of your track channels.

1:Do you put the Ac1 on the first insert of each track before mixing
2:Do you use the auto mode, and if not why not
3:What type of settings do you use on each track, ie is there a different Ac1 setting for drums as for guitar as for vocal etc or do you leave it on a generic setting.
4:What tracks imparticular do you think its really needed on and what do you generally leave it off.
5:Do you think to much saturation is a bad think, ie would you put aA1 on a drum/gtr/vocal aux after you had already put it on a track channel.
6:If so why

In the analog world driving the desk gives them the sound which in the digital world is being recreated by the ac1
With the ac2 immulating tape which is such a sort-after sound, my thinking is to put the Ac2 on every channel also but, on the second insert of the channel after the Ac1,

If you do this follow question 1 to 6 again with the Ac2 instead
