Polishing a Turd

is it that, what PT stands for?

Charles,
what is the average quality of the sources, you get for mixing?
Do you have to do a lot of cleaning, bouncing, overall preparation and such, or is this part of the overall mixbuilt?
- Propably you have someone preparing for you? dfegad

But even after that - do you layer sampled sounds, or work with what you're given?

...you don't have to answer.

NIKO,

"what is the average quality of the sources, you get for mixing?

Pretty good overall.

"Do you have to do a lot of cleaning, bouncing, overall preparation and such, or is this part of the overall mixbuilt? Propably you have someone preparing for you?"

I do some of this type of clean up, but not all the time. If there is not too much I do it myself.

"But even after that - do you layer sampled sounds, or work with what you're given?"

I prefer to work with what I'm given. I'm not a big fan of replacing kicks + snares. I like the challenge of taking the one they gave me and makin' it work.

"...you don't have to answer."

Answering is what I'm here for. Just ask.
