Just bought the LA-2A collection, authorized etc. but the three different versions don't appear on my plug-in list in Logic -- only the old LA-2A. Does anyone know the solution for this? (UAD customer service is a bit slow, that's why I'm asking here.)

@Andie: Just go to the "Audio Units Manager" (AFAIR very first menu) and rescan the plugins!

They are near the bottom of the Universal Audio plugin list starting with "Teletronix"..

I'm a happy camper with the Octo and Quad cards. Nabbed the Neve 88, API and Tape Echo to fulfill the Custom option. Although I've yet to even demo the API or tape echo- just went for price point.

Did you look under the T's. Its not called La2a.

Yes, the new ones are listed as "Teletronix LA-2A's". Further down the
list.

Hi All,

I demoed the La2a and 1176 mkII versions today at a local store and noticed that the the new La2a is much louder than the original plug in.

The 1176 does not seem to have the same problem. Anyone experienced the same?
I apologize if this was discussed and answered in this or another thread.

They calibrated it to a different level. It's in the documentation.

I experienced the same today with Cubase 5 on Win XP. It turned out I had to update the UAD software from V6.4 to 6.5.2 (V7 needs Win7). After that it showed on my list
