This looks GREAT and the price is reasonable. I'll check the pads out before I make a decision. There are too many controllers with lousy pads on the market.

That's a steal, and it has 16 knobs

You can't edit the preset sounds? You can only load two patches in multimode?

You can only tweak some parameters that each patch allows. The other thing is not clear.

On the other hand I love the controller, 8 banks, fast midi channel switching, 16 knobs.

With a scrip in live it could be pretty dope (and then a step seq via m4l).

Looks like an updated Analog Factory Experience with a few more knobs and some pads.

They still need to finish The Laboratory so that it functions properly with DAWs.

The thing has a more substantial feel to it than most controllers but it is incomplete and sits unused.

For $25-$50 less than the Analog Experience Player, with more knobs, and 4,000 more patches. At the same price as everyone else's 25-key controllers. Could be a very competitive product!

Is there any more info? I cant find much info beyond some simple NAMM videos (always so noisy) and nothing as far as reviews goes. Sweetwater has it on sale, but says it wont be out until spring.

I wish they would blend this with the Spark and make one piece that did all of it.

Are these keys long enough to actually play something on them?
I have an AKAI LPK 25 and when you play chords that not only use white keys it´s getting very hard because of the reduced leverage for the fingers which are close to the upper end of the keys...

Old thread, I know but does anybody know if these encoders work bi-directional?
For example, when I work in Presonus Studio One I can select "transmit" so the value of a knob gets send back to the controller to avoid parameter jumps. When I use maschine, you can see the value changing when turning in knob in the software so everything stays up to date.

Does the Minilab also RECEIVE midi data?
