Presets are for lazy ppl
And just maybe some of you lazy people might learn something about synthesis in the process. WIN! Please lets all be upstanding for Korg on this one and stop moaning you preset and CC controller guys have had the last 15 years with your Viruses and NOrds, if this aint for then just wait I'm sure there will be a new NOrd or Virus or plugin to satisfy your needs soon enough.

I pre-ordered mine this morning thru GC, and though the coupon does not work on-line, they called me and set it up over the phone.
The CC will not be debited until it's ready to ship, though they do check that you have sufficient credit on you card available as of now to purchase it.
Which considering you might not when they run it through seems a bit of a waste of time!

Can someone confirm if this new MS20 has VCO's or DCO's?

I thought I read that it has "digitally stabilized oscillators" or something to that effect.

I also just ordered one. To be delivered in April, hopefully this will not be like the Minibrute where it was delayed for a year....

I found the Monotron already sounded cool so I'm confident 86% will be up my standards

So what do you guys guesstimate first days sales of MS 20 mini? 5-10,000?
I'll bet it's bigger than expected.

I am that acidpiss guy, who Tell That the "pots" never be the same as in 1982. how long before they start cracking. maybe if he was 2oo dollars more expensive and dirty and water resistance . but real nice to see the old MS-20 comes back.

It's not gonna stop me buying it though especially if the price is this decent! Great vintage tone! I would like to see a deluxe model though with all the modern bells and whistles for a couple of hundred more.
You can automate it via cv.

To me the MS-20 mini isn't even worth discussing the fact I'll buy one is just automatic, anybody remotely interested in analog synthesis and synths in general its more than a no brainer.

And it doesn't take Columbo to work out that the MS-20 mini will end up being the biggest selling synth ever....

I Feel sorry for Moog as the Sub Phatty looks/sounds superb but their just not going to sell nowhere near as many as they were expecting now the MS-20 has been announced.

I don't think it has CV-in , only CV-out.

I'm sure they'll probably release later an "expanded" version with more bells and whistles , with patch saving and all , but it will be more expensive.
I think this one is aimed at competing directly with the Minibrute at this price point.
