Have you tried that link ?

Damn you Softube!!! Why?!? Why do you have to make such cool plug-ins?!?! [fist shake] I was done buying EQ & compressor plug-ins.

I really wish these would have been just Softube rather than NI, though.

Why? It would have had a nicer GUI but been on ilok and double the price. The Compressor is dope. I think Softube's best compressor yet.

Simply hope they will get ALL the other plugins series that has been released lately out of Guit Rig. I mean, its still cool to have them in Guit Rig but they should definitely make them available separate just like these ones. It's a MUST

Wow, the PASSIVE EQ really can handle high levels.

I made a test and pushed it to +18, +24 and +36dBFS.

It saturates, can even be used as a saturation/distortion effect on some materials !

The ENHANCED EQ saturates too but in a totally different way. Just try it ;-).

I don't if it's me but I'm almost kinda happy that I didn't purchase the Softube Grand Channel yet. Cuz these 3 babies got some serious sonic stuff going and the Passive Eq really shine without "hissing your ears out". The top end is simply beautiful. Yummy

And again, great job to Softube & NI for bringing these babies out.

You said it all.

But if you haven't tried their Summit Audio EQF-100 equalizer emulation, give it a go, it's their best EQ to date IMHO !

It doesn't require an iLok.

There seems to be some confusion.

Neither requires an iLok.

This Passive EQ sounds amazing!!! I just fell in love with the Maag EQ4 and it's too early to tell but I might like this better (different beasts for sure, but a cut above other EQs quality wise).

I'm curious how this stacks up to the UAD and hardware versions? After demoing this I know that if I ever bought a hi-end piece of hardware it would be a Massive Passive. :D

Speculation:- judging by the success of UAD's version of manley massive passive - and now this by Native Instruments/Softube, it would stand to reason that other big players like Waves would attempt to model the Massive passive too? I'm confident we'll see an offering by Waves sometime soon that will add an emulation of the Manley Massive Passive onto their Waves Mercury Bundle. I'm holding out till then for now.

Are these premium tube plugins 64 bit yet?

Kind Regards

Click above link then select Products / Hot Products / Enhanced EQ, Passive EQ & VariComp
On each page there is a blue Download Free Demo button.
They run for 30 minutes and quit, no preset saving or total recall though.

Here's the link for the VariComp demo

Just the nature of the beast but..

no one who's dropped 10K on UAD cards is ever going to tell you the softube version is better

and everyone who hasn't is gonna tell you they aren't....

can't win? .. make up your own mind.

I have uad 2 cards and I'm about to upload some files!

I haven't purchased the uad massive passive yet,so I'm excited about NI release.

I'm gonna demo on both platforms,I'm leaning to NI,cheaper and I can run more instances with my i5.

Soon ill have 5-7 main Plugins in daily use,not touching the other 100
