Something I forgot to mention in the review is about how easy it is to build up plausible VST drum tracks in the DAW; this has a lot to do with the MIDI note +/- buttons. Starting with the bass drum, hit record > record bass drum > tap the + button and the MIDI note is now on the snare > repeat for hi-hat, etc. - all in the same take/record session.
With practise I was able to switch MIDI notes quickly using the +/- buttons so I could play hi-hat closed then open then closed again.

I liked the ability to play drums naturally and instinctively without having to mentally map the performance for programming in the DAW.

Bitmi method has a much quicker workflow and more enjoyable too.
