So, just to confirm, it is just the picked version? There is no fingered version? A finger extension would be most welcome.

I really like the sound and prefer it over your Jazz Bass picked, which does not sustain as long as I'd like. This bass would cut through a busy mix much better, and would be not only good for rock and metal - but for country and pop and r&b too.

I'll probably buy this, just one suggestion - I'd love to hear product demos that are
just the instrument solo, not in a mix. I think everyone wants to hear just the clear solo sound of the instrument in at least one demo.

Ok, bought it. Yes, its a bass played with a pick, no finger-played sound.

That said, it sounds great. I've been searching for ages for a pick bass that sounds like the strings were played with the pick at an angle, instead of picked directly on top of the string, which is not how bass players use a pick.

This will be my go-to picked bass sound. Plenty of "wire"
and "buzz" that makes it really speak in a mix.

I hope you Amplesound guys release a fingered
extension for this bass!

How do you choose which frets (on the neck) are played? Is this an option?

You can use CapoMan or StrMan to specify which frets to play. Watch this video
