RCA 74B Transformer Question
 

Hi there,

I have 2 RCA74B's, one of which has an impedence of 600ohms, and the other 175Kohms. I'm wondering whether this is simply wired up on the wrong terminals of the transformer and can be altered to roughly 600ohms (or 250 as is stated in the original RCA spec) or whether this model is one designed specifically for PA use and therefore has a different Impedance rating on the transformer altogether.

I am pretty sure that the output impedance can be selected internally on the 74B's.
