Box with 8 channels of Trident 16/24. How much?

Hi fellows!
Somebody is selling a self made wood box with 8 channels of a Trident 16/24. It has the power suply in it. He claims it works perfect, although it has a semi-defective mic gain pot in the 8th channel. He said it's always being like that (he was the owner of the desk and kept those channels when he sold it), but it still works.

So my question is, how much should I offer for that?
My intention is to use it for drums, cause I tested drums in a 80 series and loved them. Are the preamps in 16/24 similar? Couldn't test the unit yet, but wanted to ask you guys about the price first.
I'll let you know when I go test it.

Thanks for any advice!!

Jordi.

No. The Series 80/ 70/ Trimix pres are transformer-coupled. The Series 65/ 75/ 16/ 24 are a transformerless design and not really similar sounding at all.
If you have a short-loaded 16/24, they may be worth $175 each to you, if not...
