good prices for laptops in NY
 

hello

i'm in new york city, on my holidays.

i want to buy a laptop here - the prices are MUCH better than in europe.

it does not have to be an audio monster workstation - this one i want for internet, ms word, watching movies and so on. just a home laptop.

do you guys know the places in NYC where the prices are low and there's lots of stuff to choose from? i know i shouldn't buy anything on manhattan.

there are the big stores like BEST BUY around the town - is it good idea to buy there? are their prices good? there was no big choice in the one i have visited...

the best area for me would be queens, because that's where i'm living. but any responses will be appreciated.
