"P" Soundtrack

I finished working on the film “P” a few months ago, and it has its US premiere in New York tonight:

I thought Gearslutz might find the music (a lot of it available for free download) interesting, it fell into 3 categories:

1. Soundtrack – Composed on Reason, tracked in Logic (Vienna Symphonic Library) and mixed on Sadie/Radar. A lot of it is available for download here:

2. Bar Music – (the music that was played in the bar in the film), all tracked using virtual instruments on a notebook in Logic.

3. End Credits – A young band from Krabi in Thailand called “Underground” played the music for the end credits – their first album will be out later this year. The track is available here with a video “The Music Video” that is made up from shots from the film:

It was quite an experience pulling all of this together, and I’ll be happy to share any details that any of you might be interested in.

Hi Nick

Thanks for all the info and good luck with the film.

Which sampler did you use for the VSL?

Hi Rene

It was arranged and tracked by Jack Arnold in London using Logic/EXS24.

Hello Nick,

Do you know when the DVD for this will be released?

Thanks.

Hi Carlos

No idea!

The film is doing festivals at the moment, New York now, then Canada, Korea and UK. It hasn't had general release in cinemas yet.
