"Traditional" Electronic Music

Greetingz! We are launching a project here in Kigali, Rwanda called "The Kigali Sessions". Very original, I know. We are incorporating synths, drum machines, etc. and some amazing musicians from Rwanda, DRC, Burundi, etc. There is some great electronic music coming out of the continent (just search "Nyege Nyege") and these sessions are just a taster. Premise is simple just get some folks together and jam mixing traditional with electronic and everything in between, capturing the audio/video as best we can. Music be the great connector. Plus, I am using a lot of the gear I learn about on this forum, so I thought it would be cool to share these instruments in a bit of different context. I'll try to post here when there are new clips up. Peace from sunny Kigali.

Here is the channel link....

Appreciate the heads up my man, a bit new at this. Should mention the gear used in the first two clips is the Moog Grandmother and Digitakt is running beats/samples. Cheers.

Greetings ya'll. Updated link plus more videos. Digitakt and Grandmother used in almost every video. Lyra 8 also makes an appearance. Keep rocking.

The links in the OP don’t seem to be working for me, but I did search Nyege Nyege on youtube and found this DJ set:

Pretty sick. Looks like a top festival on the whole, thanks for the intro.

Apologies, link should work now. And, yes, I can confirm Nyege Nyege is a top-tier festival.
