(OT) Help With A broken iLok

Hey All,
Sorry for the off topic post. Since I know that a number of you have to deal with iLoks daily - hopefully one of you can help me.

I got a call last night from work stating that one of our iLoks have died. (We don't have Zero Down Time). First thing this morning I plug the iLok into a PC laptop and it recognizes it just fine - the little green light comes on and Windows tells me that it has found new hardware and installs the new driver for it. I log onto iLok.com and try to syncornize it and it won't see it. I have tried all of the USB ports on the PC to no avail. I haven't been able to try a different computer yet. I just need to get it to work for a few minutes to transfer the licenses off to another iLok. Any suggestions??

Have you tried manually reinstalling the client software/drivers?

Do you have access to a Mac you could try it on? I've often had problems with my Syncrosoft dongle on Macs which are resolved simply by putting it into a PC and running the LCC software. Not the same dongle, I know, but stranger things have happened.

If this isn't a good advert for ZDT though, I don't know what is...!
