How to get toms/hat/cymbals from channel bleeds

I'm trying to mix a live recording of a horn band. Done originally on 16 channels of ADAT, I've got some severe limitations with the drums. I have a snare track with very little bleed from the rest of the set. I've got a kick with no bleed. My overhead mic goes out after about 5 minutes in the 40 minute recording, and that is where I've got a problem. I've got basically kick and snare in the mix; no toms, hat or cymbals, to speak of.

I have some bleed from the vocal mic, the horn mics and the guitar fx mic. Obviously, those various instruments are in there as well. I can amplify the bleeds where the instruments/vocal are not present, but aside from scissoring out the instruments/vocal, is there any technique for effectively getting the hat/cymbals/toms to exist in the mix?

BTW, I'm in Cubase 7.0.6, I have Adobe Audition CS6, and I have Drumagog for replacement, if I could get enough for Drumagog to actually pick up on.

I figure I'm not the first guy to run into this type of problem. Ideas?

You may have to manually add samples in... have a drink and get comfortable, it may take a bit.
