Beyer Dynamics DT Series

Hey guys,

Checking in here to see if anyone know or owns pairs of the Beyer Dynamic DT Series Headphones..

I'm looking to buy a pair, i was thinking DT770's 250 Ohm but then i go t stuck looking at their models and realized, evenr though im currently in an audio engineering school, i don't know what application i might use the 250 ohm version of those headphones or what they are best suited for rather..

there is also a pair of DT990's at 600 ohms and im trying to figure out what that pair would be good for, i own a pair of yamaha HS80's that i do almost all my mixes on but hwen im out n about and bedroom producing i tend to use my headphones when im away from my studio where the yamaha's are located.

any opinions or ideas guys ? thanks !

I've never heard anyone say a bad word about any of the DT models. I own the 250 ohm DT880 Pro's and they're very good headphones.
