Adam A7x power supply

Hello there,

Paranoid question here:

I've just bought a pair of ADAM A7x monitors. I live in the UK and was unsure how to connect them correctly to the UK mains supply. There were power connectors included in the parcel but with a European plug (I bought them from the German company Thomann.)

The info on the back of the monitors states:

220-240V, 50hz but then has in red 230V
170 Watts

Is it ok to just connect them to uk mains with a normal kettle lead using a 13amp fuse?

I've made a similar mistake before and blown some equipment! So I'm keen to make sure I do this right.

Please advise.
Thank you.

I'm an electrician mate , yea they should be fine if they already came with a kettle lead in the speaker box , as long as there 230 volts its fine to plus them in

220-240V, 50Hz is the correct setting for the UK.

Either get a kettle lead with a UK plug or you could pick up a EUR/UK adapter
