ATH-M50x or ATH-M70x?

Hey guys, I am looking at getting new studio headphones and have narrowed it down between the ATH-M50x and ATH-M70x. Is there any big difference between these two headphones besides the frequency response? Is the ATH-M70x worth the extra cost? Which would you recommend getting? Any responses would be appreciated.

hello people's Avatar
50 is bass heavy 70 is not. The difference in price is not worth it. 70 is nice but not that $ nice.

Actually the ATH40x's are better than 50x's. They have better balance across the frequency range. 50x's have too much emphasis on the lower frequencies.
