NOTE: First time Logic users - you do have to go through a few hoops to get it to pass AU validation the first time.
The work around is discussed in the Fircomp1 thread.

This is totally understandable. I do hope to release an AAX version eventually, but unfortunately can't say any more than that.

There is now a OSX command file included that should remove the quarantine attribute from the mac versions (run before copying) - unless this file itself gets quarantined. If anyone is having any trouble, email me as before It simply runs the xattr program.

The sound, the feature set and the themes.

The snap makeup is awesome - you did it amazingly. And snap balance - never thought I would need it until now.

Not sure how I feel about that empty space on the UI - I am not good with asymmetries
Love the website, though. No-nonsense, good old 90s design, without all that big picture and animation nonsense that is sadly so prevalent in today’s web design.
All the information you need easily readable on one page (except maybe what kind of copy protection is used). Brilliant.

+1 for UI improvements in future updates, as I am pretty sure that won't be tough at all. As the real hardwork is in the sound, which is awesome!!
It is by far the cleanest compression I have heard.
Beats any stock compressor by wide margin.


My next wishlist- to have a similar ultra-clean, high quality, phase-artifacts free, musical EQ (with dynamic control option).

First time I bought a vst blindly.

I was already blown away by the first version and I can hardly wait to play with the new one.

Not that I am complaining, but this wonderful compressor is worth a lot more than the current price. A hell of a lot more.

I would agree that it is worth much more. Just because there is nothing like it!

BUT I think it's very wisely priced because this way I would guess you get much more customers.
And the 68837 euros now and 5 dollar sale discount later just does hurt in my opinion.

I've been to beta and I'm glad Jon has already released this v2. He has worked very fast!

Regarding the GUI, there are proposals and I'm sure Jon will improve it little by little, but let's face it, the beauty of this compressor is inside: P

Though I'm running latest Logic Pro X with latest Big Sur (and on a M1 Mac Mini).

Did you run Logic as Rosetta or Native (in case you have a M1?)?

I thought there was talk of making the meters run horizontally. Seems like it would make better use of that space whilst giving larger and more detailed metering.
