How do you connect to the right people for making or including music in video games?

How do you connect to the right people for making or including music in video games? Was able to completely by accident in 2005 and then the project was passed over for something else. Recently, I've run up against any number of brick walls it would seem, but any help would be appreciated. Below are two playlists from my YouTube channel with a sample of said music.

Email game studios. I met a guy at Bethesda who said he could place my stuff in the games they make.

Move to LA? Attend conventions when possible? Network your way through the right people?

I don't know, but if you find out, let me know.
