DAW + drum plug-in + amplitube

Hello!

At the moment I use Reaper with Addictive Drums, and with Amplitube. Sometimes I try and learn in pro tools 10 and with Superior Drummer 2.0, but with Reaper and AD is much simpler.
I have some basic question about mixing.

1. I have downloaded some presets for AD, sounds pretty good. Do you make some mixing in DAW to? In the DAW, the mixing is necessery, when you hadn't mixed in AD? Or just have some mixes, what is always should make in DAW?

2. By guitar tracks. When I set some preset in amplitube, what can I make, for the better voice?

I mix AD in the DAW b/c it gives me more control over the sound and allows me to use my third party plugins to shape things. I found that a little Waves Kramer Tape o nthe AD snare sounds so so so so good and believable to me.
I print all of the stems of AD to waveform, and mix from there.
