Macbook Pro Retina 15" with Logic Pro - 2,3Ghz or 2,6Ghz

Hi!

I am planning to buy a new Macbook Pro to use for production within Logic Pro 9. So far I have used a Macbook Air 2011 model, which tends to overload often. I am thinking of buying used, and there are several Macbook Pro's 15 inch with 2,3Ghz Haswell processor with 16GB memory on the market, but none with the 2,6Ghz Haswell that I really want.

So my question is, will I notice any (and if so, how big) difference between the 2,3Ghz and the 2,6Ghz?

Is it worth it when I am going to use it for 3-4 years?

Any help will be appreciated

Thanks!

- Daniel

Check out the Logic Benchmark thread, newer machines in the more recent threads.

Probably not a huge difference, but when compared to an Air you'll notice.
