New Lacie Ssd Thunderbolt 2

Hey !
I need to get an ssd drive (1TB) but I´m still trying to figure out which one ...
Today Lacie announced availability of their Thunderbolt 2 drive ...
LaCie - Little Big Disk Thunderbolt™ 2

What do you reckon?
I run a hundred tracks sessions with loads and loads of Samples libraries -mostly Orchestral- so the disc would be exclusively for samples ...
It´s quite expensive, though ... should I bite the bullet and pay for this one, or could I work easily with something cheaper?
Thanks !

Great, would you be kind enough to propose options? I really don´t know how much speed I need and what is enough...
Thanks

Ok,so they've now put the price on it :-) it actually came out a little less than I thought. It is expensive but the fastest drive that I know and at least they promise it to be very quiet also.

I know ! The Thunderbolt 1 version is said to be really noisy ...
Would it be a pump up on performance to get the thunderbolt 2 over the 1?
in terms of playing back a gazilion samples ...
