HELP!! can't open sessions with expired plug ins

Hey guys,

I'm having an issue opening sessions I recorded (pro tools 10) using a demo of a tape machine plug in called Virtual Tape Machine. So the demo has ended but when I go to open the session it prompts me to insert my ilock (which is already inserted) and then when I press cancel it "unexpectedly" shuts down protools. When I try to reopen it the same thing happens. The cancel button is meant to open the session without the inactive plug in but protools keeps shutting down instead.. Can't anyone help??? this is most frustrating. I would be really grateful! thanks

Delete the plugin from your pro tools plugin folder, have you done that?
