I'm looking for a cheaper alternative to EDL Converter (http://www.cuibono-soft.com/), I tried the demo and it rocks but it's too expensive for a cheap guy like me.
There are also too many conversions types, I just need OMF to EDL (Digital Performer to Samplitude) conversion.

any suggestions?

Open the OMF in Nuendo.
Export it to OpenTL
download EDL Translate v4.17 ap-sound.de » downloads

go to Load from -> Open TL EDL
then set framerate and samplerate
then Save to -> Samplitude EDL

I used it to conver a vegas project to nuendo.
For some reason nuendo opened the Open TL EDL it created but not the AES31 EDL so that´s why I suggest you export in that format doing it the inverse way.
