How can I get this kind of drum/ percussion sound?

Ok I fell in love with the percussion in this track (jump ahead a minute)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7tcw6NCcim4

If anyone could tell me where I could get samples/ how I can achieve this sound, I would be forever grateful
thank you !

That sounds like a high pitched clap sound that's had two reverbs applied to it, a reversed reverb first and then more reverb after that.

Not sure samples of this type of sound will be easy to find but this should be a 5 minute job to recreate.

Logic definitely is capable of doing this stuff and I'm sure most other DAWs are to.

That's very helpful, thank you
I use cubase and I know how to apply reverse reverb so I can do that
by the way I'm listening to your track in your signature its amazing.

So I understand there aren't samples with the processes already applied to make percussion like what the youtube video has that I posted (and percussion sounds you use in your tracks) but do you have any suggestions on packs to use as base sounds? So samplepacks to play with/edit enough to achieve that?

Thanks for having a listen to my track.

I reckon you could get pretty close to the YouTube track with sounds from NI Battery, that has quite a few electronic kits; also it sounds quite 'synthy' so maybe try some of your soft synths that have percussion presets and have a listen to those.

You could do a search for free 80's drum machine samples, some of the old analogue drum machines had clap sounds like that.

It's also worth having a good listen through to Cubases drum content; I know that with Logic there's so much that comes with it that it's easy to get bored with sifting through the sounds.
