can I use rosetta 200 as protools interface?

Hello,

I currently use PT8LE with a 003 on a MAC.
I also own a rosetta 200.

I'm looking to change/upgrade my setup...
I would like to get rid of my 003 and use the rosetta 200 with firewire card as an interface into the new Protools 10 on MAC.

I mostly use protools to edit audio and do some rough mixes.

Is this possible? Any problems with this chain? Is this a bad idea?
Does anyone on this forum use the 200 as an interface?

Thanks,
-jkb

Yes, it will work just fine with Pro Tools 10. I have an XFW card in my Rosetta 200 and it works fine. These days I don't use the XFW card very much, as I am running Symphony I/O, so I just hang the Rosetta 200 over the SPDIF or AES/EBU ports.
