Vocal Processing Tips

I really want to improve my vocal processing technique.. I feel like I have a lot of power in the gear sense, but I don't really understand how to produce (even using the best gear and plugs that I have) a sound that I am happy to say, "Yeah, that is good enough to go on the radio."

I'll provide a general list of what I have below- but does anyone have any good tutorials, techniques, or mics/plugs to share that I should be using and won't also break my bank? I'm located in Los Angeles and would also be interested in taking a couple lessons to get this down.

Currently using:
Mics: Peluso 2247, sm58, AT 4033
Distressor Compressor
Apollo UAD with the basic plugs that came with it
Logic with the basic plugs.

THANK YOU.
